Shakugan no Shana S01

Sakai Yuuji, who thought his life would last forever, has died. On his way home, the world came to a standstill, and he witnessed a shocking scene; people were trapped in blue flames, and a giant monster in the shape of a doll was devouring them. In the moment the monster attacked Sakai, a girl with a sword in hand, wearing black clothes, with red eyes and ruby-colored hair, saved him. The girl introduced herself as a "Flame Haze"; someone who hunts down creatures from other worlds. Since a blue flame had appeared in Yuuji's chest, the girl named him "Torch". Yuuji is just a temporary replacement, as his real life has already ended. Without fear or hesitation, he befriends this amazing girl and calls her "Shana", joining her in the fight against creatures from other worlds.
